Who we are

We are a neighborhood-based, non-profit volunteer group that has two areas of focus: beautifying and maintaining our unique Greenwich Street pedestrian promenade, and expanding Tribeca’s “urban forest”.

We’re feisty and committed. We don’t receive any regular governmental funding, but believe our mission contributes in a real way to the public’s well being. We depend on your support, in any way and in any amount you can offer it!

One of our major initiatives since 2003 has been the neighborhood-wide greening of Tribeca, through our program to increase the number and health of our in-ground street trees. We are working with the Parks Department and private parties to plant many more street trees, and to find and train more care givers to help care for our street trees so they stay alive and beautiful.

Join with us to look after the Promenade’s 1.4 acres and help expand and nurture Tribeca’s burgeoning street tree population! We garden together through the passing seasons, tend to our street trees, advocate for all of this, and have real fun doing so. You’re welcome to join us. Your volunteer actions will make a real difference!

we need you!

We are always looking for new volunteers to help beautify our neighborhood.
